That's interesting, the very picture used in their teaching materials was admitted to be a tricked out mini sub by its creator and photographer. Tells you something about fire breathing dinosaur dragons too, you don't want to be standing behind one holding a torch when it does.

It's not entirely outside of the realm of possibility for a specific dinosaur to have a mechanism like the Bombardier Beetle. Not exactly "fire breathing", but extremely hot vapor ejection.

What is interesting about this article is that tis is being done in "private" (can we say "charter" perhaps) schools that receive public funding. If they can get away with teaching fake imitation science like this then what is to stop them from teaching fake history, etc. ?

There is a big difference between teaching about actual beetle that has been observed versus pure made up lies about huge reptiles that shoot flames for which there is no evidence and then teaching these lies as fact.
