My daughter is visiting from Austin, and we decided to take her and the son to Laughlin to mess around and do a little gambling. Within the first hour or so, I was up close to a grand. It looks like that Ipad 3 with 64Gb is now in my future. I've tucked the cash away and won't touch it until I buy the tablet. We don't usually get to the casinos very often, but when we do, I usually do well. My game of choice is roulette, but it wasn't very kind this time around, so far. Today, I need to make enough to pay for the kitchen remodel. This could get interesting.

Well, just got home. We all had a good time and it was good to get away for a couple of days, and spend some family time together. So I did manage to pick up a couple hundred more bucks before we left, so the Ipad and a few extras are a sure thing, I think, maybe. As for remodeling the kitchen, I should have enough left over for a nice salt and pepper shaker.

Perhaps there is a way to parlay that into a spice rack.

Might be worth a trip to Prescot and hit Bucky's Casino.

They're bringing back video poker/slot machines here. Putting them in gas stations and shops. They were only quasi-legal 20 years ago before they outlawed them and brought in the lottery. Since they've come back, I've only seen them played once. I'm wondering if the lack of play is due to the pay out parameters. If they don't pay out enough, I don't think they get played.

It's a shame you weren't here.

You could've bought everyone an iPAD.

Damn, at 35 to 1, someone made some $$. I have my favorite number(s), but when they hit, I rarely let it all continue to ride, more often I still bet
the corners, but pull the majority off. When my wife and I went on a cruise for out honeymoon, I did well enough on roulette to pay for it all. Talk about shithouse luck.

I DESPERATELY need to turn $20 into $6000 so I can get a Yaesu FTdx5000. Looks like THIS is the only way to do it. I Tried in Reno last November, and got up to a Plus $13 until I lost it all at the Stateline casino!

Yeah, but it all requires duct tape or WD-40.
