So I'm filling in for our receptionist at work this week. Today is the first time I had to open the place. The door has an electronic lock that you have to enter an ungodly amount of digits into to open. Being the first time doing it, I screwed it up at least 5 times. When it's happy, it beeps. When it's unhappy, it beeps. I'm focused on getting the place opened up, not really paying attention to WHAT the thing is beeping at me, when suddenly I notice that every time I screw up the code, it beeps "73" in CW. Cute. Obviously a designed by a ham op. Gonna have to try to piss it off some more on my way out the door this evening and see what it says to me.

The kid had a Hannah Montanna backpack hat has some blinky L.E.D.s and when they were done with their sequence it sent HI. My dentist ha a thing that I assume is some part of the curing proces for fillings that beeps HSIE. Then again it might just be counting down, but that doesn't stop my disorder from translating it.

Older AT&T phones used to beep "SMS" when a text message came in...

My iPhone beeps a Morse Code "R" on incoming text messages. Why an "R" I couldn't tell you.

(TheBoss)"R U gonna answer the damb phone or keep undressing me with your eyes?"(/TheBoss)

Joe Cartoon fans will get the inference.
