A tribute to my beer-brewing coworker's efforts.

Helped him with an ATV project this past week and he wondered what I owed him. Mere store-bought libations aren't enough. I wouldn't settle for anything less than a 12-pack of his home brew. He brought a case.

The brown ale I'm sipping on at the moment is simply out of this world - all hand-crafted. His Oktoberfest and Belgian Abbey Dubel were enjoyable...but this ale is killer.

You helped him and wonder what you owe him?

Hope you're not becoming a Democrat there, Fred.

Nice... Those handcrafted brews, by even a person with more than 6 months experience outperform all shelf-bought beers.

I used to brew. Made some oatmeal stouts and then really got into darker wheat beers.

Made a couple of batches of mead too. That was kick-ass, more like a liquor.

It's the buzz. I'll fix the typos tomorrow...

Typos left in place. That was some good brew. Drank several the night before; not a trace of a hangover. Last night I followed the homemade stuff with a bottle of Sam's Boston Lager and got myself a decent little headache this morning. Note to self: Preservatives bad. This is one more reason to make my own...now if I can only pry that ale recipe away from my buddy...:chin:
