Not literally...but kinda.

I got an idea while perusing through the eyeball qso thread elsewhere on here...i have no idea what the hell the rest of you guys look like. Weve posted pics of our radios, guitars, cars and trucks...but we need a thread of us doing goofy shit in front of the camera. I have all these mental images of of people behind callsigns, im just curious at this point.

I have some great shots of me on stage, but who cares about that...heres one ill let you guys try to figure out.

Ha ha, no comment on that picture. We got to play at a big party at a bowling alley some time back.
PS. I was living on a steady diet of cocaine, whiskey, and 3 meals a week, hence my size 28 pants. They even liked my singing, that is how silly these people were. Does the average person know how hard it is to sing, and play bass?

Ah, i remember size 28 pants....faintly. I had the hardest time learning to sing and play at the same time, its not easy. Its second nature now, but it took years.

Yeah, that pic is me being Adrian Zmed, and Adrian being a Roman emperor...weird, but why not. Well, since it looks like its just you and me, i will post a stage pic...or two...

I am putting together my online photo album. I will post a link likely within the day.

Spain is an interesting place, particularly if you like stone cities. The problem with these older towns is that there is literately nothing to do. At least in this part of Spain. I find the north to be more to my liking. Sadly that is a two day drive and not somewhere I can visit on a daily basis. This part of Spain shows drastic change from area to area. Sea, mountain, desert. In Alicante that makes for some particularly nice weather. Not too hot, not too cold, not too dry, not too humid.

From what I have seen thus far this is my outlook on Spain. I either really like a region or I hate it with a passion. There seems to be no middle ground, to my taste.

Again, I will get a link up and working at some point today. However, what would interest you? Beaches, old stone towns and castles, or greenery?

Here are some photos from this weekend. Mind you I am not particularly good with a camera. Lol.

I cant seem to find the shot of the natural spring that lets into the rural house we stayed at. They use the spring to lead into a large stone jacuzzi.

Although we haven't been there since our daughter moved from Ocean Beach to Austin, we used to try to get there a couple of times a year. Just to fuck up the traffic flow.

Next time we go there (I always put on my stolen California plates, it attracts less attention) I'd like to meet up with you, and Pat. Awhile back he offered me a tour of the museum, and I'd really like to see it. Actually, I want my wife to see it. Maybe she'd be so overwhelmed she'd back off of my stuff a little.

Never heard of it but I get the picture. Damn, I could use one. 85? That is an average day here. If we go to a town just south of us it gets quite hot. I dont like heat. Should have thought of that before moving to the desert.

Seriously though, that reminds me of coffee. The coffee here is good but I get tired of basically mini lattes and or espressos. I could use a good cup of old fashioned filtered coffee. Maybe Costa Rican. A nice big 32 oz cup of joe!

I dont do the doobage thing as you call it, never have and likely never will. However, I have a nice humidor full of cigars I would be more than willing to share. You can use them for your erm..doobage if you like. Problem is that most factory cigars are rolled in layers with leaves or pressed..so I dont think it would work out so well. Got some hand rolled Cubans that would work for that purpose though.

We cannot have a good cigar until Castro is dead. Obama has ratified this old policy. See, he keeps the old stupid shit going like his predecessor.

I used to go to Canada from the Detroit border to get the good shit.

More a new use for high quality car wax to keep the outerdome of the X 710 free from detoriating and clean it up.
And you can measure the difference after and before cleaning the crud from the outer shell too.
Certainly in a climate 30 miles from sea, and nar the smokestacks of the apartment building at 190 feet high..

I don't know if you can get the stuff over there, Cor, but a U.S. company makes something called Collinite Insulator Wax. It was intended for use on HV ceramic insulators to keep surface contaminant buildup low but works great on metal...and would be ideal for protecting your repeater antennas. You practically have to dynamite this wax back off - it's that tough.

Thanks for the tip i'll have a dig on the net to find it, car wax, the good ones hold just a year which is the time for us to do a new clean and check up of the 3 antenna's up there and coax etc.

Anything holding longer a s1 year looks better at the waxing LOL.
Found it in the Netherlands http://www.waxworld.nl/shop/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=26&gclid=CILS7efu2rACFSghtAod9x1Jzw ordering as i type.
