I'd watch, but I'd prefer a recreational root canal.

Come on guys, be nice! I enjoyed watching both parts of Bert's hamfest video. Looks like the NEAR-Fest was a fun time for all.
P.S., I didn't know that Karate Kid's ever popular Pat Morita was still around and kickin' ass on the banjo!

That banjo playing Karate Kid is a well respected Cardiologist from Mass General, LOL

I imagine that having the hands of a surgeon would be of great benefit in playing a musical instrument! I have never been to a hamfest that featured musical talent from area hams. It would be a neat idea for taking a break from the attending the hamfest conferences and digging through the boneyard treasures.

Judging by the demographics here on the Island, that's because they're all bass players.

You look a little older than your avatar picture. I'm thinking it's the camera...

Pretty interesting video, the 1st one needed a little more action. Maybe you could send 'watt' 'ohm' for some. :)

My son could do piano, and Sax.
You still need percussion, and guitar.
Any volunteers for vocals ?

So, I watched it. It was well composed but hamfest via video is not really my thing. I guess it is just something you have to see for yourself.

It was OK. The best part was about the WRTC antenna and the homebrew AM Kilowatt. Those were great. So were the guys playing the banjo and guitar. The "WATT" /"OHM" part was STUPID! All in all, it captured the atmosphere of the hamfest and was about what I would have done had I shot the video. Lotsa nice pix of boat anchors.

Some think the watt/Ohm was the best part. The WRTC fellow was well spoken as was the AM kilowatt ham. The gents playing the music allowed me to add in lots of stills with nice music behind it

Burt, I thought you where an asshole. After i saw these videos, I have moved my opinion of you to "favorable" I thought you where an asshole from the old usenet days. I actually laughed at your old posts. You are a solid ham operator in my view. Other folks may regard you as an asshole, that is ok with me.

I still can be what you thought I was.
Not all the usenet posts were actually mine,
Even today there are those that use my call as their ID on forums
