Heard the news from his XYL this morning via the club mailing list.

Steve will be sorely missed. A real go getter and a huge advocate for the hobby.

Not to mention a 30 year Navy vet, broadcast engineer and game day freq coordinator for the Jets.

I used to yuck it up with Steve many mornings when I got home from my night shift job on 75M. He either understood my bizarre sense of humor, or he was polite and laughed anyway. I will miss this ham.

Steve was known and well liked by hams all over the NYC metro area, myself included. Needless to say he will be missed.

Very sad news. IIRC, he was very active back in the early 90's? Remember seeing him at the BARA hamfest in Teaneck, NJ, which I think was the Hudson Division convention that year. Will miss him.

Steve was an amazing person. The funeral was well attended. So many antennas in the parking lot!
