It retails for $290. I don't seem to have the original paper work or DC adapter.

Just tested it out, I'll give a 30 day money back guarantee. It's solid. $200/OBO -- I probably used it 3 times. No particular reason for selling it, it makes me sad that it sits on a shelf all lonely and without purpose. ;)

If I didn't already have one I would jump on that deal.

I have two, actually. The older one is at a buddies place.
We worked out a trade, but have not "done the deal" yet.

I probably will regret it someday, but I'm about to buy a condo in CapHill.. it's not likely I'll have an antenna to tune. The damn thing will just collect dust.

Yea, I should have got the '269 myself. But there are other analyzers out there that are better at the really high frequencies.

Like the AIM unit. It's a $890 tho. YIKES! http://www.arraysolutions.com/Products/AIMUHF.htm

Really high frequency—RHF. That's somewhere above PHF (Pretty High Frequency), right?

I have the 269, also, and it works great for what it does. I looked at some of the others out there, but for as often as I use it, I couldn't justify the extra $$.

Don't sell your tools!

But, if it's here after the move, I'll buy it. I'll get back to you after we've moved Jeff, to see if you still have it.

There are times when it's okay to sell some of your tools. For example, it would be okay to sell your lawn mower to raise $$ for a new HF rig, No?

Only if your HOA doesn't mind uncut grass :)

Hell, I'll spend the rent, electric bill and my kid's lunch money for an HF rig!

I have an Autek Research VA1 that I traded that old Icom IC-720A (didn't work) for. I really like it and still haven't figured out all the stuff I can do with it. 1.13.00 MHz to 30MHz only but I don't need the VHF/UHF capabilities because I have no radios for that.

So the buyer never paid and I never shipped..

Thus this is back on the market. It's your lucky day, are you the next buyer?

Just noticed this is retailing for $224.95 on Gigaparts, so I'll take a reasonable offer -- $175?

I also have some other goodies to post, just cleaning them up and testing them.

What is up with that? The last 3 items I've sold I had to re-list because people say they want it, and then they don't follow through.......Meanwhile, you set and wait. Was it somebody here on the Island?

Despite their reputation, MFJ did a good job with the 259. I love mine and use it all the time.

Not there right now, but I hook mine up to set the manual tuner.

Works well, and beats throwing out a strong carrier.

Yep, I use mine that way too. Saves wear and tear on your finals and tuner as well.
