Both the book and the movie are great........u read the book and your minds eye sees the town...........the movie does a great job visually to bring that town to life........

Some strange facts about the story........Both Harper Lee (the author) and Truman Capote were both from the same small southern town that the story is set in and the boy "Dill" in the book and movie is modeled after Truman. The both knew each other as kids............amazing.......

Well, I'm gonna be a new kind of clown. I'm gonna stand in the middle of the ring and laugh at the folks.

That is pretty cool. I never knew that they were familiar with each other during their formative years.

... the boy "Dill" in the book and movie is modeled after Truman......

That because Truman was known for his love of "pickles?"
