I took an indirect strike as a kid. I grew up on a dairy farm, and once during a storm I had my hand on the lid of the bulk tank looking inside when there was a strike nearby and I got knocked down.

I know of a guy who got hit on the head by lightning. His hair stopped growing where it was struck and the rest of the hair on his head grows quite thin.. To this date he carries a large bald spot, evidence of the strike. Prior to the strike he had a thick full head of hair.

I became doubtful as soon as I saw him get up and then get hit again. I know the probability of getting hit is higher than most people realize but, twice within such a short time frame is highly improbable.
