This thread has it all: http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?338608-What-has-happened-to-amateur-radio-in-the-last-15-years

1) A first-time QRZ poster arrives after a decade-and-a-half of inactivity just to make a single post inquiring about shenanigans on the 20-meter band.

2) Warm welcomes back to the hobby from the friendly QRZ crowd.

3) Warnings to stay away from .313, spin the VFO, etc.

4) Ancillary attack on another poster by Chuck, complete with an ARRL mention.

Yes....... interesting how at "post #1" this individual is already out of the starting gate ..... Hijacked call??? ..... knowing previous QRZ history, more than likely ..... the pattern fits the type of thing a minion loyal with VE7KFM would do! ....... time will tell how this "callsign" QRZ member will act. :chin:

I was "gone" from ham radio for 26 years and came back to the hobby. Though there used to be more "carrier howls" as well as the ugly rhetoric... 20 and 75 had the most BS arguments then too. Same shit, different players.

An auto-notch fixes carrier howls.
