Does almost everything Asus says it will. Fast as hell, sufficiently robust, and usually predictable. Lovin' it -- even (blushing with embarassment) the design borrowed from the Stealth fighter.
It's a screamer, getting very good frame rates in the flight simulator. Other stuff's fast, too.
So far, so good.
Now, we get to 3D Vision. As far as I can tell, the machine is equipped for Nvidiea 3D vision, even got a screen once to adjust 3D video. But that's disappeared & I DON'T know where it went.
Been round and round google-fu on the web, and a lot of people say that they, too, cannot enable it, but so far I haven't really found anything definitive about this. Talked to Asus support this morning and loaded the Asus recommended driver, but that didn't help. Then, I had to cut the call short because their phone system as horrible and I couldn't hear much. Sigh.
Final thing would be to walk over to Best Buy and see if their Geek Squad can provide any information on this. Could be this is technology that's new enough that support is just starting to gear up for it? Maybe patience will win out.
But the rest of the machine is awesome & I'm loving it.
