Some good news for a change...
We had three people ask about a VE exam at WASHFest a couple of weekends back. Two of the three backed out, but one came through, took his Technician test, passed with flying colors (only one question wrong).
His ticket was issued today. KB3YEU.
(It hasn't shown up on the Big Z yet, but it's on the FCC ULS & AE3Q sites)
I'm pretty happy about it, since I convinced our VE Team Leader to go ahead and do this, and talked a couple of other VE's into taking time out of the hamfest to help.
