This article about a near-space balloon (http://web.utsandiego.com/news/2012/mar/01/high-school-students-send-balloon-edge-space/) launched by some local high school students with the help of the school's amateur radio club appeared in today's San Diego Union-Tribune.

BTW, my QTH is visible in the lower left center area of the bottom photograph showing south San Diego county.

BTW, I thought the lower left was Tijuana, but then, I guess there isn't a whole lot of difference. :stickpoke: :rofl:
