Just had a QSO with a guy in Atlanta—on my 40m wire dipole, no less. Had the antenna switch in the wrong position so SWR was a bit high, but it worked.

ZK2C Niue was coming in good and strong on 28.460 or so Sunday and yesterday afternoons. I just didn't have the time to crack the pileups.

Nice to see the band open again! Now if that will just hold through the weekend...

Should be a bit of DX on this weekend. Strangely enough, they'll all be looking to work US & VE stations. Mainly on CW.

Same thing should happen on SSB in two more weekends.
