Seems you need to be a member of the ARRL to get the DXCC if you're not DX. So the $32 or so in application fees and the $40 for a membership just isn't a good value as far as I'm concerned at this point. You'd think the greedy bastards would be happy with the $32 for a sheet of paper.

I don't golf, but it does look a little like a score card. Not sure what the handicap is, but it looks like it might be cw.

I am doing a bit better with my WAS though.

http://galesvillefiredepartment.org/kc9eci/kc9ecilotwwas.jpg

Triple Play was number 81 the first time and 139 the second time as W9IDX. Did that with another guy and between the two of us did it in right around 72 hours and were the first club call to get it.

Nah, you just need to hit a couple contest weekends and you'll run that up fast enough. I run mostly QRP so it's taking me a while.

^^ What he said.^^

I worked 46 out of 50 states during the DE QP. The DE QP isn't exactly the biggest state QSO party there is. My log file is posted here (http://forums.hamisland.net/showthread.php?11614-It-s-official&p=222381&viewfull=1#post222381).

You also need to get something together for 40m and 75/80. This will help significantly.

There are a lot of states you won't work because the higher bands are too "long" for "close in" states. 20m works fine from IN if you're working ME, CO, AZ, WA, OR, or CA, but doesn't help for OH, PA, KY, IA, MO, etc.

The only columns that matter are total/current. Current has the deleted entities pulled out.

Sure they have. I've got my ND on eQSL from N7IV, AC0PR, ND0B, K0UD, and KD4POJ. I"m sure you could find some email addys and work up a sked in short order.

POJ is your ticket. He's very active. I have several eQSLs from him, mostly from the Century Club WAS nets. I also see spots from him on DXWatch (http://www.dxwatch.com/).
