So I have this website. which its ok.. anyway bill was due today 1/1/12 so I paid it 12/30/11...

well...

the hosting got paid and updated

but....


they forgot to renew the domain...


fuckers

so I had to contact support. they realised they goofed and sent the renew update. now I get to wait for it to propagate... just a wonderful start to 2012

Meh, had the same thing happen to me two years in a row. Fixed within 30 minutes of opening a ticket.

my support ticket was answered and domain renewed in 8mins.

sadly i still can not get to my site but other people say its up.

Ya know, I heard about this one hoster, where you can call the server admin on the phone, and talk to him directly. I heard he's a ham too, and a pretty cool guy. You can PM Jeff about the details :)

well.. I have to go with the cost factor for now. and where i am at im getting a pretty good deal (domain is free as long as i host there and the bill aint to bad) if I ever get to where it generates enough cash. then im going dedicated.
