Got things hooked up correctly (I hope...) and at the moment am copying TFC on 3580 using WinWarbler.

Anyone game? I can QSY elsewhere if necessary.

Not for another 5 hours, when I am off work...

How about 7035.15 at 03:30 UCT?

How about 7035.15 at 03:30 UCT?

If I'm up that late, you got it. The 'BTV should have a nice low angle of radiation on 40 and this may be doable.

I called from 0330 until 0350 UCT with no joy. Was you there?

No - tried to get some sleep so we could get up at 4AM and go to gym. Stomache had different plans for me, however. I'll be available all day today.

I'm trying to find out why my LT for Digital is haqnging up in xmit and sending wrong macros. As soon as I get it working right again, I'll get with you for a freq and give it a go. I suspect RF getting in, but I don't know why all of a sudden. I have ferrites on both ends of all cables. I'm going to get another T30 loaded up with the terminal programs and see if that any different. Kind of odd (as opposed to even) since I've never had this problem before.

Hope you get to feeling better.

Gotta go to the hospital and pick a ham friend of ours up.

Not long ago, we told her to break a leg.

Apparently she took me a little too seriously.

Probably a good thing you didn't tell her to jump off a cliff.

Maybe when you get back we can try a PSK31 QSO. Let me know as I'll be around and checking in here every so often.

My 10m vertical works somewhat on bands down to 40 . Pick a spot , I'll give it a try .

Just got back myself. Maybe we can give it a go tomorrow Russ. I need to make up some new jumper cables for the radios tonight. We can try 15 in the morning if you're around; it's been pretty active during the day.

In the shack for a while.

Our ham friend whom I mentioned earlier had to have surgery to repair her broken ankle so I spent the late morning and afternoon collecting her and getting her home. Heard AC4BB from Teh Zed on 14070 right as I was headed out the door so I didn't get a chance to work him.

I think everything is back together, now. Anyone want to try some PSK31?

K7SGJ
12-30-2011, 12:08 PM

N8YX

There are enough open channels on/around 21070 on which to work - let me know where you are and I'll tune for you.

ETA:

DX is crazy there today.

N8YX
12-30-2011, 12:20 PM
Something at 21071.6 is running wide enough to wipe most of the band out. GI4SNA is now on 070.384 - you copy that station at all?

K7SGJ
12-30-2011, 12:22 PM
Yeah. I also lost everything when the station started to xmt

N8YX
12-30-2011, 12:23 PM

That was/is M0SAS.

CM2RVA on 071.150 is pretty wide as well.

K7SGJ

K7SGJ

15 is a little long for us today - 20 might be a better bet later this afternoon.

I've got FLDigi running on the laptop right now, solid copy on several QSOs on 20.

Anyone up for some PSK later tonight or over the weekend?

That's probably good choice because an everyday moment can turn romantic anytime. Anytime the moment is right.

I think Paul G. said he was mobiling this weekend, but I'm up for PSK in the later part of the day (Post 11AM) on 30M...

Just heading out to breakfast, the home center, and to look at some homeles dogs. I'll check back when we get home. I just set my FT817 and IC703 up for digital, and want to give em a go.

I have to take a friend of mine to the airport around noon but when I get back I'm playing radio for the rest of the afternoon. 30M sounds fun.

Works for me. NAQP is CW tonight, so we ought to be able to find something somewhere on another mode.
