These postings are for information and those who may have experienced the same problems, as well as those who are planning to upgrade.

I installed a pair of Kingwin SATA trayless racks on my computer system. They are the Kingwin KF-1000-BK, which I bought from Walmart online for $20.88 each

The design is pretty straight forward, the drive is inserted into the rack, with wire spring guides, and closing the door pushes the drive into the connector. When removing the drive, opening the door pops the drive off the connector. The connector is rated for 50,000 insertion cycles. On SATA drives, the connector location are always in the same place, making trayless design possible.

My system uses the easy install drive bay systems, and the other side of the drive bay assembly is inaccessible, so I am stuck with this. When I removed the blank insert to install the racks, they had two screws for the easy mount guides. I used the two screws for the inaccessible side. I slid the assembly into the drive bay, and locked it into place with the accessible side mounting screw. Surprisingly tight for the assembly, so this is not going to be a problem. It has a lock, so my drive boot is locked to prevent any accidental door opening while operating, and the second assembly are for future storage use or external drive reading.

For the ease of swapping boot drives and the price, this item is hard to beat
