Chemo is going much better than I could ever have hoped. Saw the doctors today & everything is totally upbeat. Don't have to go with anymore aggressive treatment than what I'm doing right now, and it is probably "no problem." Will find out how well it's working in about 4 weeks.

Yes, I'm a very, very happy man tonight.

Cheers!

Thanks for all the good thoghts...that really, really works!

AND....I forgot after 2 weeks, and this time I can enjoy it more.

The freaquin' industrial-strenght drugs I've got may or may not be helping side-effects. Don't really know and I'm not about to experiment. But they sure as hell give me a very nice high! Make me hungry....make me feel up...just really, really help.

Fantastic, Paul! I admit to being a little uncomfortable with serious medical issues, I'm never sure just what to say. OTOH, good news is easy! I'm happy for you and hope your recovery is swift!

I am a cancer survivor of 2 years (almost). My brother passed on from pancreatic cancer in April of this year. My sister had active cancer cells detected, and did a one month chemo attack. She was just given a clean bill of health. I started out with a pill (that made me sick) switched to infused treatments. I was getting cooked with radiation as well. Had the steroids. One caveat: I just now got the weight off from the steroids. I was very sick, and in pain. The only thing that stayed down was the chocolate ensure. I am now almost 100% healthy again. The key to surviving is the early detection. It sounds like you are on your way to a speedy recovery. I am happy for your early xmas gift.

Fixed it, AGAIN for the third time. Geez, I don't think the hair loss is as much an issue as the memory loss appears to be. (Ha, used spell check this time :neener:)

Doesn't have to be operational in motion!

And getting an old hollow state radio with a DC supply going in car is maximum FUN!!! It's great to see how it operates in the car exactly as it does on the desk.

That's kind of a stretch, but yes, in the sense that they've found a way to treat my partiular affliction so well and so comfortably, THAT's a success story. OTOH, AFAIK now, there's no such thing as "full remission" with this. Will probably be with me forever. BUT that's not so bad. The way I see it, they know how often to check to see what's going on and there's a very good chance that it will always be kept in check.

Thanks for the words!
