Forgive me if this notion is already long a dead horse and I'm the last Marblehead on which dawn breaks, but I wonder if that spy drone the Iranians captured is of the Trojan variety. Yep, I'm sure the regime's hackers have read Homer too, or at least seen the Brad Pitt movie, but what a tempting and dangerous prize that drone must present, especially if it's relatively intact. Do they dare hook up to its innards and risk contagion by some Son of Stuxnet Andromeda strain? Ship it to Russia perhaps, but they'd never get it back the way it came down, and besides who might have the nerve to dissect anything so, apparently, easily captured? Okay, so they're puzzling over it now, maybe not paying so much attention to other irons in the fire. Is that in itself, kind of mission accomplished?

I'm surprised there is no remote self destrut capability, unless it was damaged or failed.

Drizzle, Drazzle, Druzzle, Drom(n)e...time for this one to come home.

Tooter Turtle cartoon's Mr Wizard, voiced by Sandy Becker. (You old NYC TV heads will remember SB)

Comical to imagine the wayward drone suddenly firing-up and taking off, with a couple of Hahckmeds hangin' on for dear life.

All right, dog walked, fed, oatmeal et, and the rain just started again. The Bisquare remains parked about halfway up to full 40 foot hangin' spot, its 600 ohm ladder line terminating in the armor piercing briar patch, currently fifteen feet shy of the base of the Jpole, where the outdoor tuner will be. Have plenty of extra guy rope to reach altitude, but probably no more 600 ohm LL. Have to rummage the basement ham radio compost heap and see if my spool of 450 ohm window line has matured to LL.

"Hambone, Norton Nork, and Doctor Gezuntheit

As a self-taught TV viewer, this Jersey kid really enjoyed Sandy Becker yukking it up with the crew. Seemed real cool, like having the inside track, I liked to think this blew by most kid viewers who didn't get the quotes around this hipster "kiddie" show. So maybe I did still pester my mom to buy Bosco, Bonomo's Flavor Straws, Wonderbread, Cocoa Marsh and Junkett. I liked to think it was for the right reasons.

Speaking of S. Becker, anyone remember him doing a live commericial with pitcher Lew Burdette for fresh carrots? Almost certainly it was Channel 5, possibly Looney Tunes with Sandy. The pitch was, carrots were so good for your eyes, they'd improve your pitching. Who knew, huh? Funniest thing was Lew and Sandy(?) sitting at a TV desk, with a bunch of fresh carrots, including the greens, sitting between them on the desktop, like a panel guest on a talk show. Maybe it was just another Scarlet Fever dream, I dunno. See what happens when you drop a name like Norton Nork?

I remember him as a radio anouncer on The Shadow radio programs, as well as a few others.

Assymetry is a cool thing when indulged in vaccinated coffins of fading memorabilia and mind blown innocence wailing, sighing, and reaching for velveteen mojo cascaded amidst forgotten kinescopic Mylar and keen vapourizers.
