The Fox game here is Denver at Minnesota. The forecast says flurries. Some potential there.

Am I missing a joke? Does't Minnesota play in the Metrodome?

Yeah, but they can't afford to close and heat it.

Their new stadium is open. But no luck. Nothing so far.

I might stand corrected. Just checked images on the web and it looks like a sliding roof?

You sure? :anyone:

On May 5, 2010, a Minnesota State House panel shelved a new Vikings stadium proposal by a 10-9 vote.

The December 12, 2010 roof deflation led to more calls for a new Vikings Stadium from various sources in the local and national media. Minnesota Governor-elect Mark Dayton plans to discuss the matter with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, but says "any new stadium must first benefit the people of Minnesota".

I'm watching the game, I can't tell. Edit: They're definitely in the old Metrodome.

Thanks. My google-fu turned up ambiguous results. So.. the old Metrodome. Darn! Was hoping for football in snow!

I couldn't tell from watching the game either.

I couldn't tell from watching the game either.Well maybe next year they're be in Denver and you'll get your wish. We're expecting another 3 to 6 inches tonight, on top of the damn near foot of snow that has accumulated over the last 4 days. *sigh* I love the cold, I hate the snow.

Ha. Or maybe is it snows so much the roof will collapse and they'll have more snow than they know what to do with. :D [/snarky]

I love football played in snow or under rough rainy muddy conditions. I'd love to see a game played through a blizzard. Just don;t count on any snow here in the northeast. Still feels more like summer.

Sure does. Maybe we'll be luck for the Superbowl when it's in the Meadowlands?

That explains the time penalty for long huddles, or cuddles as the case may be.

Aw....not even any snow in Green Bay today. Probably just as well, couldn't enjoy it anyway what with having to watch the Packers. Do the networks control the wx?

Huh? Did it start snowing in Green Bay?

Well, the Broncos just tied the game. Cool. Knock out da Bears!
