Some of the APP's for the iPOD/iPAD/iPHONE are okey dokey in my book. I just downloaded the MAGIC-JACK app on my iPOD, now it has phone capabilities. And it's free (to download and use).

I just used an app that measures my speed, distance, elevation and time as well as calories burned, riding a bike or motorcycle. I just think it's hunky dorey!A
nd it shows me a map of my route!

I like Gasbuddy and Urbanspoon. Both are great when on the road. Gasbuddy shows nearest stations and prices, and the Urbanspoon lists restaurants and has many menus to display. The downside for you conspiracy nuts is that you have to have the location service activated on the iPhone so that it knows where you are. I figure if NSA wants me it won't take them long to find me, location service on or off.

GasBuddy is pretty cool..... been using it for 'donkey's' now. A friend at work just downloaded the latest Zombie Apocalypse last night and it looks pretty slick too.

Combine that with a Spice app and I'm in geek heaven.
