I saw one of this guy's earlier videos. He's good at what he does but the way he drives is not the fastest way to get around a gymkhana course.
Of course not, any time you break traction you're slowing down. But that doesn't play as well on video.
Yeah, it is fun to watch.
I played around with that stuff when I was a kid, even went to SCCA driving school and tried to rally my Datsun 510. I did okay, but was nowhere near good enough to ever seriously consider finishing in the money.

I LIKED IT but was the popping and back firing a result of having it tuned to such an extreme condition? The timing was extremely advanced for one.

The REV Limiter shuts off the spark in the engiine (Usually) and that fuel has to go someplace and it ignites in the hot pipes.

Does it feed air to the exhaust through the PAIR valve?

We coulda been bashing fenders, I was fighting the 510's in my Opel Manta.
And those dammed RX-3 chainsaws on steroids. :lol:
