Hello! FCC allows 15,000uv/m measured at 30 meters on 13.560 unlicensed under Pt. 15. Might be enough to throw a skywave every now and then. Anybody experimenting here? I plan to soon. Read about someone who had a "solar powered beacon" on 13560, but now I can't find the post. I'll keep looking.

First I've heard of any recreational use . Be aware , that's THE frequency for a lot of RFID access systems . They are low power , but they're everywhere , and a potential interference source . Welcome aboard .

IIRC, Kelli (N2KKM) had a solar-powered beacon "L" around that region of the spectrum. Additionally, a certain 9-land station was busted by the FCC for supposedly running a SWBC program with a field strength far above permissible limits within the segment.
