Sad, people are going hungry, and homeless. I will admit, my deceased best friend was treated to a grooming session twice a year. Damn, I miss her.

Gawd !!!! When I was farming I kept a few cattle dogs...They all rode in the back of the truck...Nothing delighted them more than rolling around in cow poop or even a carcass ...In fact they seemed to enjoy it so much I got curious and one day in a mad moment decided to join them and see what was so much fun in their pass time..It ponged a bit but wasn't too bad I thought....Well, the buggers all stopped and watched me try their thing, looked at me as if I was mad or something, then jumped up on the truck yelping..

When I got home none of the mutts would come near me...Jeannie banned me from the porch and threw me a block of Lye soap, told me to go down to the creek and wash myself all over....Further, she made me burn my perfectly good farming duds and made me eat supper on the porch for 2 weeks and sleep in the barn..Bloody dogs avoided me for a week as well..I still can't understand what I did to cause such a fuss around the place...

These days, Jeannie and the dogs and the neighbors all check me out before I am allowed inside..I dunno, can't understand people sometimes..:dunno:

Dogs roll around in carcasses and poop (And other strong scents) to "bring it back to the pack", so they can smell it.

They looked at you like you were crazy because they bring scents to you (You are the alpha, or should); not the other way around.
