OK, so now GoogleBook is open to all comers , and I'm giving it a try . Got my call listed under "other names". It's unclear to me whether folks can find me by searching that , but I'm hopeful. Anybody got tips ?

Callsign, which is why I left the message on Google+ the way I did, ya silly ham. :neener:

I added my callsign to "other names", thanks for the tip.

Have not used Google+ much, but I do like the way it works better than Facebook.

I'm puzzled , because I can''t find anyone , including you , by searching a callsign. Must be a local setting here .

On edit , I did find you by searching for your call , once I typed it in , instead of cutting and pasting the one from here with the slashed zero .

FB has served me well , especially the "group" function , which I use as an adjunct to an electronics and license prep class locally . Also , we have a group for the regulars who constitute "Camp DILLIGAF" at the Faunsdale Bike Rally . It's a convenient way to stay in touch and coordinate prep among the crew . Present plans are to limit the Google list to family and ham friends , I'll see how that shakes out .
