I'm hearing PSK31 stations from Eastern Canada and Belgium on 28.150.15

I'll be home around 4:45 this evening - may have to try some phone or CW out then if the band is still up. Don't have the PSK31 transmit cable for my '940 built yet so I cannot TX.

My friend , Debbie , KF5MEG , was having big success yesterday on 10m PSK31 and other digital modes on 10 meters . In the last week or so , she's bagged Australia , New Zealand , Lord Howe Island , and a bevy of Europeans . Most of this with around 30 watts out into a G5RV Jr. , though some of it may have been from a wire vertical. Not bad for an op licensed for about 6 weeks .

She's ready for her general exam , but her OM AD5OW and I have about convinced her to put it off a month or so , and earn DXCC first , as a Tech . At the rate she's going , I swear she'll do it .

I've been hearing stations from Central and South America as well. Unfortunately, I seem to have developed a problem with RF in my shack that causes my computer to lock up whenever I try to work PSK31 on 10m. I'm trying to work on that now.

Im still hearing lite EU on 30 in NV at 1am. My Vee is facing due east so that is probably one reason. I have to do some stuff tomorrow, but i may get on in the evening. Wednesday should be a nice, lazy radio day though.

I'm hearing more and more stations from around the country during the day and their easy to work even from the mobile.

Had an XE1 running stations yesterday evening on 28.445.

Didn't work the gent - he was far more useful as a tuning aid as I set the PBT reference oscillator and S-meter adjustments in my R-70! :lol:

Lots of big sigs from EU and northern Africa tonight...but i couldnt nail any of them down. I did get a gentleman in Moscow for a nice convo earlier, as well as a mobile up in MN, but for some reason, they just arent hearing me tonight.
