Trailing the A's right now...but who cares? The Tigers clinched. Guess I can stop worrying about a September collapse.

Hey, nobody busted me. I jumped the gun by a game. No matter, they did it last night. OK...OK...nobody here gives a crap about 'em. Ya kinda have to grow up with them to care.

Yea, but we got some great weapons our own! Hope to see this match-up. Be fun to "discuss!"

OTOH, I adhere to he epitaph...

"I'd rather be here than in Philadelphia"

25 games over 500, not too bad.
But we're 45 games over 500.

Uncle. Still hung over from the celebration!!!

BTW...read in the Detroit Free Press that the celebration included nearly 240 bottles of Dom Perignon!

“Oh yeah!” boomed Justin Verlander, his voice as thunderous as one of his 100-mile an hour fastballs as he sucked the bottom of a bottle of Dom Perignon dry. “Man! This is sweet!”

This championship party was a long time coming and after nearly 240 bottles of sprayed or consumed bubbly, won’t soon be forgotten.
