How about this penthose atop the Plaza:

This triplex penthouse boasts four bedrooms gazing out on Central Park, a library with wood-burning fireplace, a cantilevered spiral staircase, a private elevator and access to the Plaza's hotel services.

Add a 65' tower (80m vertical) and big Steppr and THAT's a club station.

Only costs $37.5 million. So if we get 1 million members, that'd only 37.50/member. Such a deal!

I think it is more likely you would get 37.5 people in your club to each donate their portion.

you would have to buy the air rights over the plaza before you could think of putting a tower on it......

Looks like you would be able to put up one hell of a 4 square for 160M.

Beams on towers on top of hi-rise buildings are a lot more common than you'd think. There's one about a block from me and I see 'em all the time. With enough $$$$$, anything's possible in NYC. I just don't want to know what the price of any permits required, or building mods for the tower, or liability insurance would cost. But then, if you can afford a penthouse like that, that'd probably be chump change!
