You really know the barrier has been broken when your significant other comes into the bathroom to brush their teeth while you're taking a dump (or vice versa).

Here is the barrier breaker...the first time you make the run for pads or plugs! And heaven help you if you get them wrong. (wasn't there a Andrew Dice Clay thing about that?)
