Anyone in the market for a heavy duty floor , I found a great deal at Home Depot. 6000 lb capacity for $109 and free shipping.
This will make a nice addition to my garage.

I have 2 of them beetches and use 'em all the time.
Quite clean incrementally and percise on the verticle (upward that is, release down bleeds and is a bit hard to control) to line something up for the short bolt fastening.
I gots to be careful though, because I get myself into the "not intended use" domain sometimes.
Love 'em. Handy.

The problem I have with a lot of these is the play in the travel. When I try to place one under a car, there is not enough room to move the lever to get any lift on the thing. The room that I can move the lever is all play area and it won't jack the car. If I have someone lift the bumper I can get enough room to get it going. But I bought the kid an old car that is pretty rusty down below and a regular jack will not work anymore.

rotI picked up a pair of these from Harbor Freight. Light as a feather, and I hang them on the garage wall with drywall screws when not in use. Great for oil changes.
