I think my fellow Islanders share this opinion.

Internet Explorer: What a person uses to download Chrome or Firefox.

You'd think, but IE still holds a 53% share of the Web browser market. Browsers using the WebKit HTML engine (Apple's Safari, Google Chrome and mobile Android browsers, RIM’s BlackBerry 6.0 browser, HP’s webOS browser, Amazon’s latest Kindle browser) come in a distant second at less than 10%. Still, even that is a huge difference from about ten years ago when IE had a better than 80% share.

They forgot to mention that old people make up a large portion of the demographic of IE users.

Use four browsers, myself.

FireFox and Chrome the most. Then IE and Safari.

I hear voices.

I have:

especially when IE masquerades as yahoo's browser, and comcast's browser, and ...

And when I need to make my Firefox masquerade as IE, because some sites are so poorly coded, they send you to a redirect page if you're not using IE only... smh

No..... Haven't needed to use IE for years, even with new computer systems. It's called keeping a copy of installation programs on a disk, and Firefox setup program is no different.

Absolutely.

The use of IE, Firefox, Chrome is out of 1) convenience and 2) preference.

But this is a good time to report something again. Out in Dayton, there was something about Firefox that the hotel's server didn't like...forget what the problem was. But IE worked fine, and so did Chrome. So if you're in a hotel and FF doesn't work, try a different browser.

I'm going to pull out my trusty C64 and run Q-Link.
