Hell, I thought you would be out watching them Pirates.Couldn't get tickets for Friday, even if I could go. The Boss & Little Miss Field Day went Saturday evening; by the time I got home it was 7, I needed a shower and some dinner. My ticket was waiting for me, but I was just too beat (to say nothing of slightly sunburned and slightly dehydrated) to do much of anything. Outside of setting the HT and radio batteries to recharge, I crashed & burned on the couch. With the game on the tube.

Frankly, I enjoy Vintage weekends a lot more when they're about 75 to 80 degrees with some clouds in the sky. But we don't get to pick the weather.

Besides, I've been involved with the Vintage Grand Prix since the beginning, long before I met The Boss, let alone married her. The ex wasn't a big sports fan, so we didn't get to too many games; if I went, it was usually by myself. So the precedent of Vintage taking priority was set long before I married a girl who bleeds black & gold.

You like older cars. You going to come next year? I can get you a spot right on the track...
