Some teenager got his ass stomped by two Bronx cops after laughed, and joked after one of the cops stepped in dog shit.

The Bronx is a rough place. They really should have arrested whoever didn't pick up after their pooch,

In the really old days when many people still used horses in the NYC streets they used to wash down the streets everyday to clean up the mess that the horses tended to leave behind.

Serves them right, what country are you living in if teens mock rigteous law abiding officers?
Where has the respect gone?

Given what I saw of The Bronx when I was in NYC in '95 , I think assuming that the pile was left by a dog is a giant leap of faith .

The Bronx was my old stomping ground. There were a couple of bars I used to go to in the south Bronx around the Grand Conc and Tremont back in the 70's and early 80's. One night I was attacked by some drunken MF and my arm was cut up with a broken bottle down there. I had about 8 stitches put in.

Fort Apache

After all the arson burned down almost all the buildings in parts of the South Bronx in the 70s, Fort Apache became Little House on the Prarie when the Police Precint was the only building standing for blocks. Things are better there now, but better is still a relative word. Dragged my girl from the Bronx. She shudders when she looks back.

The Bronx of today is a wimpified version pof the Bronx of the 1960's and 70's. Back in the 70's this type of thing would have started a war. The old Bronx of the 70's used to kick some ass.

'ize...is that where you feasted on hot dogs roasted over burning mattresses & railroad ties? I understand the creasote makes for a fine fragrance and flavor AND adds mucho nutrition.

Now....

Imagine, if you will, what would happen if, in addition to laughing at the comical sight of a cop (or anyone, for that matter) stepping in dogshit while videotaping it!
