I don't think I got a new FF update, but my browser now hides bookmarks that used to show up on the left of the screen and now I have to access them through a "bookmarks" button at the upper right.

Guess I coulda hit a menu item that did this by accident, but try as I might I can't find the menu item to undo whatever I did, If I did, in fact do anything.

Charles, nice post.

I am going to upgrade Firefox on my laptop from 3.16 to 5.0.1, see what happens....

That's what I was looking for. Was always there before...but it's gone into hiding. Maybe it'll re-appear when it's had enough vacation and is well rested?

I upgraded from Firefox 3 to Google Chrome. YMMV

I'm thinking of reverting back to Q-link with a 300 baud modem.

Videotext services were better on 300 baud... Pictures too (Albeit, ASCII), but it appeared faster than Q-Link was.

Now that I've gotten used to it, this appears to be a better implementation of bookmarks.

I tried to dig chrome but I just cant do it. Many of the things that make it lightweight leave me without the options I want. Though some of the options I want are there, they do not work. Once fixed Ill give it another go.
