Idaho is a beautiful state. I guess this particular individual who wants to ban the statue expects to live in his own private little Idaho.

Not exactly. His version of god. Not the Biblical God. That's a perversion of the truth in order to have a mallet to wield on those who disagree with you. They're not disagreeing with YOU - they're disagreeing with GOD.

I've seen that backfire often enough. Oftentimes from the same "God" that they claim to have the red phone to. Remember the Minister in Texas who wanted people to pray and drown Obama when he became the Democratic Party nominee in '08? Within a day or so a hurricane formed off of Texas and swamped them instead...
