I couldnt do it!! Just couldnt....oh man, i still have tears in my eyes! What the fuck IS that thing???

"Its about 100 lbs, im getting tired, Jason.", "Well, these are one of the things technology will have to address"....uh, you mean like the FT-817? Minipaddle, mini-mic, a 6v cell and solar panel that you can roll up in a Pelican case, along with a small dipole, HT and collapsable V/UHF ant in a frame pack that weighs in at about 15-20 lbs and looks like a normal backpack??

Geezus, do i have to do EVERYTHING for these sexless wahoos??

Hmmm, an Englishman had the answer to the 100lb backpack before the whacker invented it.

Just a technical note, Andy started out with a Hy-Gain AV-18VS, wound his own loading coil and took it from there. Just for giggles add a matching transformer in the base, 3 radials and a capacity hat and you have a CLR-2 CB antenna.
