Anyone using a patch management system for Red hat or other linux
I don't mean "up2date" or the yum daemon but an actuall patch distribution system ala SUS for Windows systems.

You mean like Landscape (For Ubuntu)? RHEL has RHN (Redhat Network) where you can order patching by groups of servers (ie, by function, network location, etc).

As an aside, what exactly are you trying to do? Simply maintain what updates get pushed to where? If that's the case, you can also manage your own RPM repo, and only add tested updates to it. There is no requirement to use the RHEL official repos.
