I might have to open it up later and have a peek inside. The tuning dial doesn't move and it has a loud AC hum from the speaker. Sounds like might have a bad filter cap in the P/S. But it was a kit so anything is possible.

Great find, and I see you have the disease. I wouldn't have passed it up either.


The Manual Man (http://www.manualman.com/) can fix you up with a really well done color copy (not inkjet -- and on high quality paper, spiral bound) of the manual. He's more expensive than downloading, of course, but he's there if that's what you want. The manuals I got from him for the Heath Mobile Twins are very, very nice, and they're the full assembly manuals.
