For those of us down here in the desert, we look forward to winter...most of us anyway. We are in the middle of a wicked dry spell too. It just started but im already over it.

I know, i know, its a "dry heat"...so is your oven. Come oooooon Wintaaah!! :clap:

I dont know...it sure seemed pretty 'great white north' to me. As a kid in KL7, we actually used to use VE money to pay for shit.

Then the place got all...reddish. :yuck:

Yea. It was really great, back in the day, when VE money was interchangable with W/K money. (No N's back then) Except for vending machines that choked on those wierd nickels with the straight sides...forget how many there were.

BTW...all...if you go to Canada, don't come back with an apprciable amount in Canadian coins. They're worthless here. Can't exchange 'em because the banks all say that it's just not worth shipping 'em back to Canada. That can hurt when you've got a few one and two dollar coins. :(
