KB9 Station blew me away 2kh up. On freq he sounds OK but away from his center freq his signal sounds wide.

I'm using an Antron. I would try the folded dipole but one leg of it is hanging down from the storms. I've repaired the 160 and the 40 and the mast over the weekend but I have not gotten to the folded one yet. I'll have to restring one leg. It should have some gain over a straight 10m dipole. It loads up fine on everything between 20 and 10. Interesting to note, it was made to 40m dimensions!

It doesn't have to be cut for 10. Only one of my antennas is and it's 3/2 WL on 10. Most of the time I don't use it.

Back when 10 opened during ARRL DX in March, I worked Crete, South Africa, Hawaii, Tunisia, and South Cook Island. I was using nearly any antenna that I had. I even worked stations on 10m using the 160m "T" antenna.

Why not just cut an antenna for the lowest band you use, feed it with balanced line and match it with a inductive (link coupled) tuner. I cut mine for 75 and it loads up great on 75, 40, 20, 15 and 10. Puts out a damned good signal too.
