According to three studies released in the United States on Tuesday, experts believe the familiar sunspot cycle may be shutting down and heading toward a pattern of inactivity unseen since the 17th century.

Not on 10 maybe, though Sporadic E will still be there.
We always have the low bands left for DX ;)

Yea...even with no sunspots, Europe can be routine on 20.

BTW...I see I've attempted to steal Paul's thunder here. Mil Pardon...didn't see it over in the Alpha Hotel.

It's all speculation at this point. Not enough is known about how solar cycles play out over the long term to be sure one way or another.

These theories need to be shot down, as it will affect the sales of Connex 10 meter radios. Bad for bizness. Don't forget the optional Rebel Flag faceplate... it helps the radio get out like stink.

These theories need to be shot down, as it will affect the sales of Connex 10 meter radios. Bad for bizness. Don't forget the optional Rebel Flag faceplate... it helps the radio get out like stink.

Pff they need a new REAL 10m ssb mobile on the market. Its the only band I use mobile and I cant justify the price of another 7000 or even a 706 simply for 10m. Finding an older one would work but....finding one local that hasnt been butchered is another story.

I do use 20 and 40 but not mobile. Simple use of 10m for local chat back and forth to work with the same group of guys daily. Now one may suggest 2m but bleh!
