After two weeks in the shop, I'm on the road again. Woot!

So why was it in the shop? Just curious. Come'on Kelli, bike talk.

I had parked it at my doctors office and some asshole hit it while I was in my appointment. The pushed it into a brick wall and then picked it up again and fled. $900 in damage. Of course, it was in the shop for the last two weeks of warm weather that finally came.

Bastids. I wish them an unhappy experience during the coming Tribulations. Obviously, they are not going to be among the Raptured this Saturday.

I was so mad I couldn't see straight. I bought the thing to save money on gas and the coward set me back two months in terms of savings due to the $500 deductible. On top of that, my husband had to drive my car because I was driving his Prius to save money, and he wasn't used to how much distance the big old Intrepid needs to stop, and rear-ended someone last week. So, double whammy thanks to the asshole who didn't have the balls to own up to hitting my poor Quannon.

Unfortunately, no. I am getting a nifty little cam for the bike though. It records while driving and it will run off the battery when it's parked. Stores 12 hours of video on an SD card. If someone hits the bike again, I'll have video evidence and can nail the bastards.

Good deal. Maybe it was a cop?

We just did 23mi on the local towpath trail. I need a remote lockout for my air forks plus some new tires. Nicki needs another bike - her 26" comfort bike can't keep up with mine when the trail gets rough.

Skorts? Is that akin to scorched shorts?
