That's how long this guy has been advertising this radio (http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/ele/2353743678.html) on Craig's List. You think that he'd get the message that he's asking too much for it by now. It's a nice old Drake TR-4 and I'd love to have it myself but not at $525.

Local sales advertiser called IWANNA, has had a Bearcat scanner advertised faithfully every week. It's easily a 15 year old rig with 100 channels. Wants $250.

It's like one guy here in Buffalo, selling a thermostat, a financial calculator, and a handheld CB radio... Been at it for about a year now.

A TR-4 is at most worth $200.

TR-4C...$300.

TR-4CW - $500 (w NB, filters.)

TR-4CW/RIT - $800-900 (w NB, filters).

The guys selling an RIT version of the thing sans filters and blanker for $1200+ are smoking cheap dope.
