well i finally got both the wifi cards i ordered... ordered the wmp55 apr 8th.. took it forever to get here...
anyway
WMP54G - works 100% on linux which is great! has a rp-sma on it so you can attach a external antenna on it. sadly it seems to be very deaf only able to pick up 2 networks with the outside antenna so it seems very deaf.. maybe bad card?
WMP55AG - works on linux but only get 11M (i got no 5ghz 11a around me it seems) it picks up 2 networks solid inside and another one sometimes.. seems stable. drawback no removable antenna. meaning im going to have to find a RP-SMA female panel mount somewhere so i can hook the outside antenna up.
my next test is the backtrack test.
