View Full Version : 3842 QRM Club
Whilst tuning around 75M last evening looking for things to listen to...I landed on the Marconi Net's usual hangout around 9PM. Didn't hear 'IXT and the crew but the frequency was actively being used by a number of stations. What was very interesting was the number (and strength) of the jammers which were present.
Apparently these individuals aren't just targeting Fred...or so it seems.
Maybe 3842 is the new North American Tune-Up frequency?
Either that, or the jammers (who are just as much boneheads as the Marconi Net, just in a different way) didn't bother to realize that other people use the frequency besides the net that they love to hate.

the wonderful world of 75

Almost makes me glad I can't operate below 40m.

It is..... below 3800.

There's also Option C:
Multiple jammer factions.
Which is the option I'm going with.

14275 has been relatively clear recently. Maybe those bozos moved to 75.

A few days ago, you know who was broadcasting from Canada. With the new Flex, I could see how nasty the signal was. Very similar to "cranked to 11" SSB signals on 11 meters recently. No wonder he projects his vocalizations into all his neighbor's stuff.
And so it goes, jerks with radios.
