Here's one review from the New York Times. (http://www.nytimes.com/books/98/02/15/home/heller-picture.html) (See below about this link)

The review does a really good job of describing what's in the book. What I'm noticing is that some the words in that book are so very, very close to the conditions we're seeing today, especially as they talk about war, democracy, economics, and justice. I'll post some quotes later.

The book IS very funny at times.

Enjoy!

I should have added that the book is different from Catch-22...it doesn't have the non-stop zany-ness of that one. It's more cerebral and subtle. But some of the one-liners that Mr. Heller drops are priceless.

I just finished it today. Learned a lot about the Greeks, the Dutch, and Art.

Me too. I learned not to turn my back on those Greeks, that the Dutch are masters at making cheap cigars and that Art Baker was always there if I asked for it.
