It's 0:513 here on the Left Coast and I'm awake. 40m, anyone?

I would suggest a spot in the WARC bands for the next few hours.
17 has been pretty good coast to coast.

Yeah, 40m was crazy with contest activity. A WARC band is a good idea; 17m is okay with me.

I'm still ragchewing with locals on 3868 right now. Since you are on the left coast, let me know if 17 is picking up. Using my new Flex 3000. I'm learning fast, but man, this thing has many SO many bells, whistles, pulleys, and assorted gizmodes.

It does hear better than the TS-850, especially in crowded conditions.
But not by an outrageous amount. Very pleased with it so far.

I got some QRM on .148 here. Can you move up to .149?

WØTKX

Umm sure, but we should move a little further, .148 just started a QSO.

.158 is clear here, how about you?

Hello.

Bearings?

I'm using mouse.
Hmm... I've called a few times on both the loop and the vertical.

Harumph.

Now someone is on the freq. Oh well, maybe some other time.

I think propagation is more for DX and such. East coast is loud, midwest is not.

If there is (HA!) a free spot in the contesting, I can move to 20 or 40.

I'm listening to a guy in WI and he's about 10 over here. Of course, I don't know how much power he's running either.

See, it's the distance. Amusing.
