Just for giggles

Name all of the ham amp models/manufacturers (Past or present) that used the 572B
( bonus points if you can name that Japanese amp that used 6x572b :) )

There was a collins with 4 572's as well. There are a few more, I just can't think at the moment

The Collins 30L-1 was designed for 811A's, but a direct substitute of 572B's was not uncommon. Higher plate dissipation, so you'd theoretically get longer life with the sub. But unless you redesigned the amp for a higher plate voltage, you don't otherwise get much out of it.

Audiophoolery is funny stuff. Though I bet that amp sounds great, the speakers they used to evaluate it are just nutso!
